A round-jump dance, originating from the southern Dalmatia, Herzegovina and the surroundings of the ancient town of Dubrovnik. The music and the costumes exhibit the Mediterranean mentality of its inhabitants, famous for their jovial temperament. The leader of the dance - "the shouter" - gives funny orders for various combinations of the dance-steps, originally accompanied by only one musical instrument, the ljerica (three-stringed instrument).
